  1. How can I register on JeevanMatri.com?
    Registering on JeevanMatri.com is a simple 1 Step Process. To create your profile and become a member all you have to do is fill a simple registration form.
  2. Please explain some of the terms used while registration?
    • Login ID- This is the id that you would be using while login into JeevanMatri.com
    • Created By- The “Created by” drop-down menu allows to identify that who has created the profile and your relationship with the created profile.
  3. How can I complete my profile on JeevanMatri.com?
    Login to JeevanMatri.com and go to “Update Profile”. You can then complete your profile as well as edit it. Your profile will be 100% complete when you have completed your profile, your preferred partner profile and uploaded your photo.
  4. What is “Preferred Partner Profile”? Why is it important?
    Preferred Partner Profile essentially includes details that you would like to have in your preferred partner. This helps you to find your life partner and other member can also understand that what kind of partner you are looking for.
  5. Can I upload my photograph?
    You have the option of uploading your photograph on My Profile Page. You can upload a maximum of five photographs. You can further choose to make the photograph public or protected or hidden. However, having a photograph uploaded would enhance your profile further.
  6. Why should I attach my photograph to my JeevanMatri profile?
    A picture is worth a thousand words and makes your profile truly come alive!! Our statistics have clearly revealed that adding photographs to your matrimonial profile not only increase the number of times your profile is viewed but also multiplies the level of your responses. And in addition, it enables you to get featured in Photo Searches. Infact, the most viewed and popular profiles are the ones that have an attached photograph. So, we recommend you to upload your photo to further enhance your profile and increase your chances of finding your partner quickly.
  7. Does the Photo Upload Feature grant me any flexibility?
    Yes, you can upload up to 5 photographs and create your own personalized photo album. However do make sure that your face is clearly visible in your default photo. You can choose any one to be your default photo at a time and can keep on interchanging /deleting or adding new photographs. Moreover, this feature empowers you with complete privacy controls, facilitating you to show your photograph only to the people you are interested in and hide it at any time you wish to.
  8. Are there any do’s & don’ts I need to take care of while uploading my photograph?
    • The image file should be in JPG or GIF Format.
    • The size of each photograph must not exceed 300KB.
    • Do note that the ideal width & height id 49 x 72 inches and 250 x 360 inches.
    • Moreover, your chosen photograph(s) must be in accordance with the socially acceptable standards. JeevanMatri.com reserves the right to remove/delete any photograph that violates socially accepted norms of decency and/or contains any form of nudity.
    • Also, do not post caricatures or copyrighted images.
  9. Give me some advice/ tips to make my photograph look better
    Here are some time tested tricks that have done wonders for our users:-
    • Choose a solo photograph having a close-up or a full view. Keep away from group photographs where you are only a small part of the whole photo because it raises confusion for the viewer and also encourages comparisons which may not always work to your advantage.
    • Professionally clicked snaps would make a great difference in comparison to the ones clicked by you at random. Professionals are well versed with the right angles, lightening and backdrops and adjust them to make you look your best. So getting a snap professionally clicked is definitely worth the effort.
    • Choose photographs where you are the focus of attention and not the scenery surrounding you. Your prospective partner wants to judge you and not the beauty around you!!
    • Consider picking up photographs that are bright and colorful. Photographs tend to become a little darker when seen on your desktop, so avoid posting photographs shot in the night.
    • After selecting and scanning your photograph, do not forget to use Image Enhancing Software like Adobe PhotoShop or Corel Photopaint. Many good cyber cafes offer services in this regard. Ask someone trained there to adjust the brightness, hue, contrast and saturation levels to give you best results.
  10. How Do I Add photographs to my profile?
    There are 3 ways in which you can post a photograph.

1.       UPLOAD THE PICTURE FROM YOUR COMPUTER YOURSELF

§  Log-in with your JeevanMatri ID

§  Click on “Update Picture” or “Manage Album”

§  Click on the “Browse” button , select a photograph you want to upload from your computer and click on “Upload”. You can upload upto 5 photographs and choose any to be your default photo.

2.       BY EMAIL: Attach the files with your photo(s) and mail them across to Info@JeevanMatri.com. Remember to write in your Name, Log-in ID along with Profile ID. We will upload it with in 48 hours and inform you thereafter.

3.       BY SNAILMAIL: If you do not have a digital photo of yourself, then read the instructions about how to add a non-digital photograph and send us your photograph at the address given there.

                        I have a normal, non - digital photograph of myself. Can I still add it to my Profile on JeevanMatri.com?
Yes, JeevanMatri.com provides a FREE scanning and image digitizing service to all its members. If you do not have a soft copy then do send us your photograph at the address given below. We will be more than happy to scan, enhance, optimize and upload and attach it to your profile.

Please put your photograph in a non-crushable envelope with your JeevanMatri.com Log-in ID, Profile ID, Name, email ID and signature written behind the photograph.

                        Is it safe to post my photo along with my profile?
Yes, it is absolutely safe to add a photograph to your profile as we have ensured that the privacy controls remain in your command. All your posted photographs are coded and tamperproof. Moreover, you have the facility to display your photo only to members you are interested in. Finally, you can change your photo display settings whenever you want to.

                        How much do I have to pay to register on JeevanMatri.com?

Logon to JeevanMatri.com, goes to Update Profile from Dashboard. Through this page, make changes as you desired.

                        How to delete my profile from JeevanMatri?

DASHBOARD

  1. What is “Dashboard”?
    “Dashboard” is your own personalized section on JeevanMatri.com, which works as your control panel. The Dashboard is an all comprehensive briefcase which helps you to manage your profile information as well as to carry out your searches effectively. Based on the feedback that you receive, you can constantly update your profile through this section. This is the place where you can see the amount credited in your account.
  2. What are “My Favorites”?
    “My Favorites” is a part of “Dashboard”. This section enables you to clip and save the profiles that you have selected through your searches. The profiles are displayed in the form of search results displaying the profile ID, age, religion, location etc. You can further compare within the selected profiles as well as initiate contact with the profile that you wish to meet. What it means is that only a bride can select a groom and vice-versa.
  3. I noticed a section having the heading “Express interest accepted profiles”. What is it all about?
    As is evident from the heading, this section saves information about the profiles that you have expressed interest they have accepted your initial contact on or the profiles that have expressed interest in your profile and you have accepted their initial contact. This enables you to keep a record of all the profiles that you have accepted and will be interested in.
  4. What does the section “Recently Your Profile Viewed by” contain?
    As is evident from the heading, this section saves information about the profiles who has checked and  visited your profile, these member could be interested in you.
  5. What does the section “Messages ” contain?
    The profiles section work as your mailbox. In Inbox you can see all the messages received from different members. In outbox you cann see all the messages you have sent to any jeevanmatri member. PMB Auto Responder is a special feature which allows you to set the auto reply message when you receive any message. You can consider this as answering machine which will always send a message set by you.
  6. What do you mean by “Deactivate Profile”?
    By choosing this option your profile will get deactivated and will not be visible to anyone. However after deactivating you can choose to activate your profile by selecting option Activate Profile which will only appear when your profile is deactivated.
  1. What is “Send Ecard” on every profile I view?
    This is a value-added service by this you can choose from select e-card and send the any member an e-card with a personalized message. However this service is only available to Paid members.

  1. How can I search for my partner on JeevanMatri.com? What are the search options available?
    The search on JeevanMatri.com has been designed in a user-friendly way so that it is always effective and yields the results that you are looking for.
  2. What are the types of search options available?
    • Quick Search - This enables you to search fast using parameters like Marital Status, Age, Religion, Community, Caste, Location etc.
    • Search By Profile IS - This enables you to search your partner on the basis of JeevanMatri ID.
    • Advanced Search â€“ The search has been made on several more parameters like height, religion, education, occupation and so on.
    • Search By Partner PreferenceSearch– By using this, you can search your preferred partner on the basis of the Partner Preference you set in your Profile.

 

  1. What is Profile ID?
    The Profile ID is your unique ID that you selected for yourself at the time of registration. This is the name by which you are known on the site. A user can see your profile details by inputting the profile ID in the given profile ID box on the home page.

  1. How can I make the payment?
    After you have selected the package, you would be taken to the Invoice page, which would detail the subscription, selected by you and would also provide choice of payment mode. You can make the payment through following modes:
    Online Payment Modes

o    Master/ Visa Credit Card: VISA and Master Card payments are processed through an online payment gateway system. You should not worry about your credit card information falling into the wrong hands because your bank will authorize the credit card transaction directly without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue via the online payment gateway an authorization code and confirmation of completion of transactions.

o    AMEX Card: Uses the latest encryption technology and other methods to protect your credit card information. You should not worry about your credit card information falling into wrong hands because the person exclusively authorized to do so will only access your credit card information. 

o    Online Bank Transfer: If you don’t have a credit card don’t worry, you can now transfer us money directly through online bank transfer. Speak to our customer care executive for bank account details.

                        I placed an order, and afterwards I was given an Order ID. What is an Order ID?
The Order ID uniquely identifies the matrimonial order placed by you. After you are given the Order ID, be sure to make a note of it and save it for later reference.

                        How long does it take to activate my Membership subscription after I place an order?
If you pay for the order online using a credit card, a debit card or net banking then the account is activated instantly, if the transaction is successful. But if you pay using a cheque /demand draft then the account is activated within 5 working days.

                        I have already paid for my premium membership but my membership subscription is still not active. Why?
If you have sent us your payment via Cheque/demand draft it is possible that we have not received the payment yet. The membership subscription will be activated only once we receive the same. The email confirming activation of your membership subscription will be sent to you once we receive payment.

However if you have made payment online by using any of our online payment modes, and your account is still not active, then it is possible that we suspect a violation of our service agreement or require some more information from you. We would request you to send copy of successful payment on
info@JeevanMatri.com, with the Profile Id and Membership details (Package Type, order id & date) to look into the matter.

                        How soon can I expect Promotional Gifts to be delivered to me once my Membership subscription is active?
The delivery time of any Promotional Gift is minimum 4-6 weeks, only if you have given the right and complete shipping address at the time of placing order. So request you to please be patient.

WEB MESSENGER

  1. What is Web Messenger? How to use Web Messenger?
    Web Messenger is a chat messenger wherein you can chat with members who are online. When you login to your profile on dashboard you will see an option web messenger, click on it to open the Chat window. It will display a list of members who have been added by you and approved for chat. You can instantly chat with the online members. If you wish to chat with a member who has not yet been added in your list you need to add them first. You can add them typing their profile IDs in the box below and click on Add.
  2. Who all can use the Web Messenger feature?
    To use the chat messenger one needs to be a Paid Member.
  3. How will the other profile users come to know when I send Chat request?
    When you send a chat request, an alert is sent to the member. When the other member accepts your request, you will also receive an alert.
